This is a sonification project I did while working with Dr. Janice Edgarly-Rooks and the REAL Program of Santa Clara University. Dr. Edgarly-Rooks specializes in a group of insects called Embioptera, more commonly called “Webspinners”. I used her research to create a five-movement piece which sonifies their step patterns.
